I know this may be contentious, but have you considered a SMART Meter. If you do, ensure it is a SMETS2 type, as these can be moved from supplier to supplier.
Avoid SMETS1 meters.
The remote display makes meter reading very easy.
If your meters are over 20 ish years old, they are likely to need replacement anyway
