In support of 4 local Girlguides going on international volunteering trips next year, I am putting on a South African evening at the Guide Hall in Liphook Saturday 9 September 2023 at 6.30pm.
3 course taster menu with coffee/Rooibos tea and a koeksister £40 a head (bring your own drinks - no corkage!)
Starter: beef or vegetarian Bunny Chow and Biltong Caesar salad served with mielie bread and butter
Main: Cape Malay vegetable curry with traditional accompaniments, Bobotie & rice, Boerewors & pap with tomato and onion sauce.
Dessert: Malva poeding, perppermint crisp tart and Amarula ice cream.
All the meat will be provided by Simply African at a discounted price and snack packs of biltong will be available to purchase on the day.
