Really fresh eggs
- Mary W (23rd Oct 2022  10:29:47)

Can someone say where if or where I can get very fresh eggs, on a Sunday, if possible?

Perhaps someone has a few chickens. I only want 6 to a dozen a week.

Don’t fancy the supermarkets, don’t trust how old the stock is.

Liphook Day Centre sells realiy fresh, large, free range eggs from their popup shop in the Midhurst Road car park. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.

How do we know they are fresh? I know, because I collect them from the local farm first thing Tuesday mornings

And the price? An unbelievable £1.30 per half dozen. Compare that price of the eggs being sold in the local supermarkets!

You could set up your own little flock of chickens, you would only need 3, the white ones are the best as they lay big white eggs. Hollywater hens near passfield can sell you the chickens and all the equipment needed.
