I want a quarter of a million pound new skatepark installed so I can smoke weed, play loud music and piss all over it, yet not skate at all.
Q. When are we demolishing this horrific eye sore, not one skateboard or bike has traversed its ramps in 2 years (I KNOW) literally costing us ten grand per use at the moment.
PS before you cry that its crap/un skateable , I skated decades ago, I could skate this hulk now without a problem and enjoy it, fact is no one uses it, the use (on actual purpose not just hanging out smoking drugs) numbers have dropped from 30 days a year 6 years a ago to 1 user for 1 hour per year.
DEMOLISH IT
or cough up a quarter of a million for a new one, which wont be used for purpose, just smoking weed

The skatepark gate is padlocked and has been for a while. Could be why no one’s using it.

Build the houses and use the developer contributions to build some toilets and decent skatepark.
Of course it won't happen because the developer contributions go to somewhere else not the community that is impacted by the development.

Hi,
The area facility is over 100 years old.
Sport clubs including football, cricket, tennis, bowls, etc, have used the area for generations.
Various Clubs house facilities including their toilets, they have had for a long time.
Maybe some residents need to know their local recreation area...
