Summer Planting - Liphook in Bloom (8th Jun 2022 16:35:19)
This weekend we will be putting in the summer bedding plants and we really need some help. We will be meeting at 9.30am on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June.
If you've had a busy week at work getting out in the fresh air and doing some gardening is a great way to relieve tension. You will be made very welcome & we always stop midmorning for a tea or coffee and a chat.
Bring some small gardening tools with you if possible.

We meet in Midhurst Road car park at 9.30am on Saturday and Sunday 11th & 12th June.

The wild flower bed is blooming, the hanging baskets have been placed into position and tomorrow & Sunday we will be planting the flower beds.
Come along to Midhurst Road car park at 9.30 am on both days to help Liphook bloom for the summer season.

Don't know whether it's LiB or another group, but thank you so much to whoever is responsible for the beautiful wildflower areas on the green. They are really lovely at the moment!

The wildflowers on the green were planted by Liphook in Bloom.
We are very proud of them and so glad that you are enjoying them.

Just got to say a magnificent effort the village looks fantastic. What a transformation over the weekend you volunteers have done a wonderful job. It must have been a military operation to complete over one weekend. You all deserve a medal. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic job LIB thank you for all your hard work. Hope this very hot spell doesn’t spoil the plants. Very hard work to keep them watered hope you can cope.

During this very dry weather we have to constantly monitor the need for the beds to be watered.
If you are willing to join the watering team that would be appreciated.
Some of the beds can be watered from nearby mains taps, but the other have to be watered from our bowser.
The bowser is primarily used to water the hanging baskets twice every week.
